Yapping about my OCs hehehe
To start talking about my OCs, I need to clarify that I have two stories—maybe three, though I’m not sure whether to keep the third one as an AU of a game I like or create new OCs and build a story around them. (Although I'll probably leave it as an AU—if so, it would be my first AU!)
"Let's go Sagittarius" features the most linear narrative of my stories; it is a sci-fi thriller revolving around disappearances in space and how they are linked to a criminal group and corruption within the space rescue organization where the main cast works.
I have a soft spot for this story because it features one of my oldest characters (Diore Jet); I’m going to pick this project back up, though I plan to rewrite the characters and develop them much further as I continue to learn more about drawing and writing. Unfortunately, due to school and time constraints, progress will be a bit slow, but I want the Sagittarius character to have better development and for the characters to truly feel alive. Honestly, seeing work created by others inspired me—I want to create something too.
What I rewrite won't change the main plot, but rather how certain themes are handled and how the characters act.
The second story I have doesn't have a title yet, but it features characters I really like—such as Jack Pott, Rubí, Mr. Wolf, Triana, the bartender, the waitress, and the casino staff in general.
This story leans more toward comedy, so there isn't much of a linear plot; it’s mostly just the characters interacting with one another and hanging out with Jack Pott, the adopted son of the casino owner.
Jack Pott is a gambling demon and a cheater who swings between being the richest and the poorest person in Hell, depending on the day.
The staff members look out for him since he’s the owner's son, though when there isn't any gambling involved, Jack Pott is genuinely innocent and kind—something that can be quite shocking or strange for new employees like Triana. She works there just to pay for her studies, and the first thing she likely saw on her first day was Jack Pott perched on a slot machine while Rubí tried to shoo him away with a broom.
One thing I forgot to mention is the circus story arc; Jack Pott essentially wagers his own rights on the circus and ends up becoming part of the act. Consequently, the casino staff have to place bets and do whatever it takes to win him back—especially since the casino owner would likely dock their pay if he found out. Mr. Lobo also felt sad about Jack Pott being gone, though he eventually returns, so it’s a happy ending.
